You can't buy a lot of stuff off of a merchant to increase the amount of money he has then sell a big expensive item. Merchants don't by those trash items (pots, mugs, bowls) for 1 septim anymore, silverware being an exception. But it's harder to make money in this new iteration of The Elder Scrolls. Oblivion will give you much more phat lewtz than Morrowind did in a short amount of time (if you're a high enough level ). Why only 2 rings anyways, when you have 10 fingers? That's not even half the worth of some of that stuff Shame the merchants only have around 1200 septims to barter with. Then I'll replace the Spelldrinker's Amulet (15 pts spell absorption) with the Amulet of Reflection. I think I'll drop the Ring of Sunfire (11% spell reflection) to wear the Aegis Ring. It's at 90 nowģ from the Grey Prince's Training, 8 from the gauntlets and 9 from the Ring of Eidelon's Edge With this gauntlets my blade skill is enhanced by a whole 20 points. Robe of Glib Tongues: +8 Mercentile/Speechcraft/Personality (don't need it because of my 100 pt charm spell. Gauntlets of the Weaponmaster: +8 Blade/Blunt/BlockĪmulet of Reflection: 14% Spell reflection Wearing real armor might be worse but getting hit will still improve my armor rating. What's the consensus on robes? I have some robe of protection that makes my armor ratings two points higher than even without the cuirass and greaves it replaces.īut it doesn't have any light/heavy rating.
